These terms govern access to and use of Signage X software, websites, players, CMS, and related services.

Using Signage X

You must be legally able to enter an agreement and must provide accurate account information. You are responsible for account credentials, authorized users, server administration, connected displays, and all content you publish.

Permitted use

You may use Signage X to manage lawful digital-signage content. You may not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, distribute malware, probe systems without authorization, infringe another person’s rights, or use the service for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful material.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload or link. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to display it. You grant only the limited permission required to store, process, cache, and display that content through Signage X.

Software and licenses

Signage X and its original code, branding, and documentation remain the property of Island Electronics and its licensors. Any applicable installer, subscription, screen limit, trial, or paid-license terms presented when you obtain the software also apply. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses.

Availability and customer responsibilities

Offline playback and caching reduce interruption but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Customers are responsible for suitable hardware, connectivity, backups, security updates, testing content before display, and complying with laws that apply to their locations and audiences.

Third-party services

Webpages, media hosts, payment services, and other third-party systems used with Signage X are controlled by their respective providers. Their availability, content, and terms are not controlled by Signage X.

Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended or terminated for material breach, security risk, unlawful use, or non-payment where a paid service applies. You may stop using the service and remove the software at any time. Provisions that logically survive termination remain effective.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and without warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded. Signage X is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, lost content, lost revenue, or display interruption. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

We may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be identified by a revised date. Questions may be sent to support@signage-x.com.
